Griplok Disc Co.
Griplok Disc Co. is a personal project of mine where I branded out an entire disc golf company. As an avid disc golfer, I found a problem within the community of it being difficult for beginners to come into the sport. Through this project my goal was to make a product line that would help beginners learn how to play.
One of the most confusing concepts to grasp in disc golf are the flight numbers of any given disc, and how the disc will fly when thrown properly. I designed a set of discs that display how they should fly right on the discs themselves.

I also created a series of posters that commemorate the history of disc golf using old patents for different equipment used throughout the game. Along side this, I created postcard mailers that could be sent out to customers. On these postcards I wanted to keep the company’s mission of making the sport more accessible for beginners, so instructions on how to properly throw a disc are on the back.
To finish off the branding, I created packaging for the discs. The package has a cutout in the middle to show off the product and make it more interactive for the buyer.
